Brooke Hogan: Very Worried About Brother in Jail

Jail time has not been treating Nick well, his concerned sister Brooke Hogan revealed.

“They had broken his spirit," the 20-year-old sister told People Magazine, "When they put him in solitary, he was on the outs. I was worried about him, and his safety, and his well-being."

Those 28 days of solitary confinement have taken their toll on the younger Hogan. But now, with Nick turning 18 and joining the general populace of inmates, Brooke has observed that her little brother is slowly getting his spirit back.

\"We get to visit him three times a week like everybody else, but it sucks," she shares, "I can't just walk over to his room and give him a hug, or talk to him, or confide in him. ... At least he's not locked in hell, basically. And his personality is slowly coming back. I bring that out of him."

Nick Hogan is serving an 8-month jail sentence for reckless driving that resulted in a car accident that has incapacitated his passenger-friend for life.
