James McAvoy on Frenching Angelina Jolie: Never Nice

The Daily Telegraph
Many guys would probably kill just to lock lips with Angelina Jolie under any circumstances. But her Wanted co-star isn’t one of those drooling men.
Scottish actor James McAvoy says he found it “strange” and “weird” that he had to smooch with the Hollywood actress.
He states, "It was just another day, and the same old stuff as usual. I was just thinking, 'Oh God, I hope she doesn't think I'm getting off on this.' And she's doing the same. So it's always weird. Always strange, never nice!"
He adds, “It was awkward, sweaty and not very nice. There was angst involved in that, as always.”
McAvoy is no novice to on-screen kisses. He gained recognition for his passionate love scenes with Keira Knightley in the Oscar-nominated Atonement.
According to him, love scenes – whether with Jolie or anyone else – might seem like great fun for artists, but they are more often than not the most difficult part of the work.
In an interview with Ann Curry on TODAY, he insists, “You’re meant to do the kissing last thing, but you end up doing it first thing, just after you’ve had your breakfast and you’re all funky in the mouth.”
On Jolie, the actor has this to say, “She’s just a very chilled-out person, and a good, fun person. That shouldn’t be surprising, because movie stars are normal people, and even actors get taken in by the hype.”
In Wanted, McAvoy plays a faint-hearted accountant who teams up with Jolie to take revenge of his assassin father.
And we thought all guys in the world are lusting after her.
