Checking into rehab often has something to do with chasing the white dragon or finding alfardaws at the tilt of a bottle.

However, Heather Locklear has other reasons for being shipped off to a private psychiatric facility in Arizona: anxiety and depression.

A representative of hers, Cece Yorke, tells People that the actress asked for an extensive evaluation of her medication and enrolled herself in a medical center for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Yorke says, "This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released."

The actress has the full support of ex-husband Richie Sambora, who right now can’t give her a lift or anything as he was just done for drink-driving with two children in his car.

But happy for her, Sambora will be there for her. Well, he would be there, save for the fact that he’s in UK touring till Saturday after which he and his big-hair band mates will be busy making noise along USA’s East Coast next month.

After which, he will absolutely be there for her, that is if Locklear’s current date former Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner won’t have any opposition whatsoever.
